I spoke to Luke Pearson, the founder of @IndigenousX. With a following of almost 30,000 people on Twitter and a weekly piece published in the Guardian, @IndigenousX is a successful media platform for Indigenous stories told by Indigenous people. On the fifth anniversary of @IndigenousX (March 15, 2017), host Olivia Rosenman talked to Pearson about where the idea came from, why what it does is so important in a media landscape that has long ignored Indigenous stories, and how he hopes to see @IndigenousX continue to develop.
