I am an award-winning audio producer and journalist. I make podcasts and audio content for a range of broadcasters and clients including Google, ABC, SBS, Monocle, Bauer Media, Newscorp, The Wheeler Centre, the Australian Centre for Public History, and the Digital Writer’s Festival.
I am represented by the Audiocraft Agency, an association of Australia’s finest audio makers.
I am a regular commentator on ABC Radio National’s Download This Show where I talk about technology, the internet, media and digital culture.
I previously worked as a journalist with Storyful news agency, and as a reporter for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. My freelance writing has appeared in publications including DestinAsian magazine, the Telegraph UK and the China Media Project.
My work in communications includes as a consultant for Fifty Acres – the Communications Agency, and as Communications Manager for Angel House, a rehabilitation centre for children with cerebral palsy in Nanning, China.
I speak English, Chinese and French. I have a strong interest in China. I lived, worked and studied in China and Hong Kong for six years. In my spare time I make kimchi.
