I am an award-winning journalist and communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in journalism, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.
I have a proven track record in leading productions and projects, from conception to delivery. With deep expertise in writing, media production, narrative storytelling, and project management, I’ve worked with major institutions including UTS, Google Creative Lab, the South China Morning Post and SBS.
My high-quality audio storytelling work has been published by Australian and international broadcasters and media outlets including ABC, Bauer Media, Google, Monocle, Newscorp, The Conversation, Twenty Thousand Hertz, the University of Technology Sydney and The Wheeler Centre.
I’ve worked as a journalist in Australia and Hong Kong, reporting for the South China Morning Post, Storyful news agency, and First Draft News. My freelance writing has appeared in publications including The Telegraph (UK), DestinAsian Magazine, and the China Media Project.
My work in communications includes as a consultant for Fifty Acres – the Communications Agency, and as Communications Manager for Angel House, a rehabilitation centre for children with cerebral palsy in Nanning, China.
I hold a Master of Journalism from Hong Kong University and Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics and Chinese) from the University of Sydney. I speak Chinese and French and have solid cultural competency as a result of having lived, worked and studied in these countries. In my spare time, I make kimchi.
