I collaborated with journalist Sarah Allely for the podcast Brain on Nature. The six-part series explores emerging science and research around the impact of nature on the brain, through the story of Sarah’s mild traumatic brain injury, sustained in a bike accident in 2015.
As co-producer, I worked with Sarah from structure through scripting, editing and promotion.
Brain on Nature is an independent self-funded podcast, yet we have received widespread critical acclaim across the world. We have had positive media coverage, from the UK Financial Times, The Guardian, The Australian, The Big Issue, The Los Angeles Review of Books podcast channel, The NZ Sunday Times, Radio New Zealand, The NZ Listener, ABC Darwin, Radio National Breakfast and ArtsHub. The UK Financial Times named it one of their top ten podcasts of 2019, and Bello Collective named it one of their Outstanding Podcasts of 2019.
